Meet our experienced bookkeeping team, who specialise in bookkeeping services for small business. With 25 year experience in company and small business accounting Henny Williams is passionate about small business and strives to help small business owners achieve their goals through effective procedures, financial reporting and planning.
Henny moved to the Illawarra from country New South Wales with her husband and two daughters in 1994 and loves the seaside lifestyle and beauty of the Illawarra and South Coast. She always dreamt of owning her own bookkeeping business and seized the opportunity when GST was introduced by the Howard government in 2000.
Henny is a registered BAS Agent, holds a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting) and is a member of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.
Carly has lived in the Illawarra since 1994 and loves living on the coast. She has worked in many customer service roles including the Commonwealth Bank assisting customers with a range of services from general account support to mortgage lending and superannuation.
Carly is our office all rounder. In addition to client bookkeeping duties, she provides admin support and is the first point of contact for our clients. Carly holds a Diploma in Business Management and Certificate IV in Bookkeeping, and is a registered BAS Agent.
Michelle Green has been with Essential Bookkeeping Solutions since 2004.
For most of her life she has lived in the Illawarra area and enjoyed her younger years growing up in Fairy Meadow. Michelle has three children and four grandchildren, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
During her years of employment she has worked in various industries and has also owned a couple of businesses. This is something that she calls ‘working on both sides of the counter’ and Michelle feels that this has assisted her greatly within her current occupation dealing with and understanding businesses and their owners.
Michelle holds a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping).
Lisa grew up in the Berkeley area and has lived in the Illawarra all of her life. She currently lives in Warilla with her husband and two young daughters.
At the age of 19 Lisa was employed as an accounts clerk at a local motor vehicle dealership. She thoroughly enjoyed bookkeeping and accounting, moving on to complete a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting and Legal Studies. Lisa spent over 20 years working for various dealerships in the Illawarra, with 10 years of that time spent in the role of Financial Controller.
Lisa recently worked as an accounts manager in the building and construction industry for over two years and began with us at Essential Bookkeeping Solutions in January 2017.
Lisa enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
Jessica was born in Wagga Wagga and moved to the South Coast in 2015.
Jessica began her working life in an accounting firm as an office administrator and personal assistant. While working in this industry Jessica decided it was time to head back to study and advance her knowledge in the accounting sector. She completed her Advanced Diploma in Financial Services (Accounting) while working and raising a young family.
She moved into bookkeeping in 2010 and hasn’t looked back. Jessica enjoys spending time with her children and being active.
